Our guest soloist is world-renowned pianist Jon Nakamatsu, winner of the gold medal at the tenth Van Cliburn International Piano Competition. Mr. Nakamatsu returns to his native San Jose to perform Edvard Grieg's thrilling Piano Concerto in A Minor.

Also returning to the stage for a long-awaited encore at the podium will be the band's legendary founding conductor, Darrell Johnston.
