The San José Wind Symphony wants everyone to be able to learn about our concerts, buy tickets, donate, and reach us online. We are working to keep this website aligned with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, the standard most commonly referenced under the Americans with Disabilities Act and California's Unruh Civil Rights Act.

• A "Skip to main content" link lets keyboard and screen-reader users jump past the navigation.
• Every page uses proper headings, landmarks, and page titles so screen readers can move around quickly.
• All forms (concert alerts, contact, employer-giving) have visible, programmatically associated labels, clear error messages, and tap targets sized for touch screens.
• Interactive elements have visible keyboard focus indicators, and dialogs (such as the intro video and concert-alerts pop-up) can be closed with the Esc key and return focus where you left it.
• Decorative images are hidden from screen readers, and meaningful images carry descriptive alternative text.
• Text and background colors are checked for contrast against WCAG requirements.

Some parts of the site are provided by outside services that we don't control, including our ticketing and donation provider (VBO Tickets), YouTube video embeds, and the Mailchimp signup form. We choose services with accessibility in mind, but we can't guarantee their conformance.
